with loads of living space. Total living area 3,338 sq ft excluding large
(3) car carport. Glassed-in hot tub area. Very intimate and interesting
spaces. Log stairs and railings are something to behold. |
 |
Very open floor plan, large great
room, exposed beams, loads of glass facing mountain views. Interesting interior
color scheme. Exterior details suggests Arts and Crafts style. 2,080 sq

The plan done by a Design Service
had a complex and costly roof system. The design was referred to me by the
builder for a complete re-design (this without changes to the floor plan
as per owner's wishes). The result is a simple cost effective 2,092 sq ft
contemporary home. |

This is the fourth residence designed
for myself. It has 1,096 sq ft. It was designed as a low budget, very easy
to maintain small home. The design utilizes many space-saving methods. The
floor plan is functional and works well going from space to space. Several
innovative ideas were incorporated into the design. Because of a feature
in the October 2001 issue of "Log Home Living" magazine
I was commissioned to use the same plan for homes in New York, Michigan,
Maine and Canada. |
